Chair of Parish Council meets LCC Chairman
Recently Cllr. Joe Orson, Chairman of Leicestershire County Council (LCC) met with the Chair of Hoby with Rotherby Parish Council, Cllr. James Falconer Smith.
The meeting allowed for the sharing of items of concern to the Parish Council with Cllr. Orson.
Cllr. James Falconer Smith was able to congratulate Cllr. Joe Orson on behalf of the Parish Council as he continued his year as Chairman of LCC

Meeting with PCSO Andrew French
An informal meeting takes place with PCSO Andrew French on 25th November at 7pm in Hoby and District Village Hall, prior to a meeting of the Full Council which takes place at 7.30pm that evening.
Come and ask questions of PCSO French over refreshments from 7pm

MP and Borough Cllr. attend Centenary Horticultural Show.
On 7th September 2024 Hoby and District Horticultural Society held their centenary show. Church Bells rang, the Brass Band played and the village enjoyed an afternoon of looking at the many exhibits and applauded the days trophy and prize winners. Trophies were handed out by Canon Malcolm Britton from Frisby, a long time supporter of the show.
